I am talking of course about Jeremy Clarkson, the Top Gear presenter, and his book ‘For crying out Loud‘. For most of the time I find Clarkson simply ingenious.
The man is gifted with a unique talent to see through complicated things, and present them in a simple manner.
Although there are some things I don’t agree with him his book is a perfect read for a vacation.
Does this quote leave you indifferent?
“We can call civilised countries those that have nuclear submarines and do not have a death penalty. Which leaves Britain and France. Which is about right.”
