Hardest thing about being an entrepreneur is becoming one

I often get asked a question what are the hardest things about being an entrepreneur. Various thoughts come to mind including cliches like “being persistent” but I knew that’s not it and for a while I was struggling to define what “it” was.

I think I now know what it is. Hardest thing is actually becoming entrepreneurial in the first place, to initiate that change of mindset that allows one to get off the regular tracks of life, opening mind to endless possibilities. That is it.

I do not think entrepreneurs are born, I think it is the right circumstances that make them such. How do you get there? Curiosity and hunger for self-education.

I have even been able to trace what caused the trigger for me. In 2007 I read a book called “Rich dad, poor dad” by Robert Kyiosaki.
